Opening a New Gallery in Warrenpoint!

From April this year I've been settling into my new Studio & Gallery on Warrenpoint's Church Street, with the beach only 50yds away & the beautiful Warrenpoint Park with all its Victorian bandstand & manicured flowerbeds right next door.

The unit used to be a bookstore so there were a few changes needed before I moved in, with the first task ripping up the lino to expose the original Terrazzo flooring. The paintwork (art gallery white of course) needed freshened & new track lighting was needed to illuminate the Artwork.

I used a track system for hanging Artwork to make it easy to move them around. The exterior was painted all black to co-ordinate with the other shop units & the sign I went for was lightbox with white lettering. I wanted to keep it subtle, as I hope the Artwork in the window is the first thing people will see!

To celebrate there was an opening night with drinks & music.
Its now been a few months & I've settled well into my new home. I'm already organising more Exhibition nights in the future.
